Self-taught while in prison, Damien specialises in photo-realistic drawings using graphite. In 2021, Damien completed a contract with Random House to illustrate the book This is Ear Hustle,. He has also held six solo art exhibitions, including one at the San Francisco Public Library, and has been part of eight group exhibitions, ranging from Sydney to New York.

Ear Hustle, an award winning podcast, looks at the daily realities of life inside prison shared by those living it, and stories from the outside, post-incarceration. This Is Ear Hustle, written by podcast co-hosts Nigel Poor and Earlonne Woods, and illustrated by Damien Linnane, tells the story of the podcast.

Damien's continues to illustrate for Ear Hustle, providing cover art for Episode 80, the season 10 bonus episode, Episode 91, Episode 100 and all of Season 13.

On display at The Lock Up

The Lock-Up’s annual fundraising show is back again! Featuring works by over 100 local artists. All works will be available to purchase online and in the gallery, with 40% of all sales facilitating The Lock-Up’s artistic program. All artist profits from Damien's entry this year will be donated to the United National Population Fund's program in Palestine.
